We spent the first warm weekend in Atlanta at Piedmont park with half of the city’s population. We drank margs and Bloody Mary’s and people watched with the pups.
Our group of friends brought one lab mix, two boxers, a Doxle and a male chihuahua named MiMi.
It was a triumphant day- Henry’s first Piedmont Park experience sans Prozac. I’m proud to report that he only got...
Planning to attempt curling-ironed beach wavy hair [stop thinking Toddlers and Tiaras] a la this tutorial.
My mom gifted me with a new 1.5” curling iron and I am ready to break it in.
Thinking I should probably pick up an aloe plant on the way home for safe measures. Considering my hand eye coordination, things could get dicey.
Sometimes
I struggle with how much of my personal life to put on this blog. While it’s mine-all-mine I don’t always know who reads this little corner of the Internet.
And I don’t wear my heart on my sleeve.
But sometimes I think I would like to put those sorts of things here. Sometimes I think I would like to revisit certain seasons and walk back in my own shoes and feel the words as fresh as the day I...

Today
I drove in this morning, and just heard the news.
The woman who got trapped under a MARTA train at Five Points Tuesday morning had been in a wheelchair on the platform when she suddenly “got up and jumped off” as the train approached, a witness told the AJC.
She is in her 30s. She threw herself in front of the train for unknown reasons, but was somehow spared from certain death....
The feisty brunette on the right just got engaged this week [!!!] Congratulations, Lydon!
Two of my best girls, count ‘em TWO, have gotten engaged in the last month. I am so happy for my girlfrans. Spring 2012 is going to be major. No one fear, I will reactivate my spray tan package in due time.

I’ve been hanging tough with this weather, enjoying the slow pace of the work week. But TIME OUT. Delaying the opening of the new Anthro?

Snowday
Being that I work for an international corporation, we are only permitted to close [for weather related reasons] when state and local government offices do.
Nathan Deal was inaugurated as our new governor today. Closing was not an option.
I’m glad I went to work. No sarcasm, I mean it.
There were four of us in the office. Four. We sent one lone ranger to Checkers for burgers. There was...
I am a healthy eater who watches my calorie intake. Joe eats like a 5 year old and has the metabolism of a Kenyan. When it comes to ice cream, we swap.
His: a mango frozen yogurt with fresh fruit
Hers: everysinglechocolatetopping at Yoforia a la Buddy the Elf

I just screamed at Henry at the top of my lungs because he has been howling at his shadow for the last half hour. I yelled so loud that my throat hurts. Then I teared up out of guilt.
I am now concerned that my neighbor might call the cops on me. But then I remembered I called the cops on him last month. Even Steven.
The Lotto
Today my co-workers and I were daydreaming about what we would do if we’d won the lottery. Everyone had been buzzing about the mega millions and it’s record high and it’s only natural to think about what you’d do with a cool forty-nine mil in the bank. As it turns out, one of the two Georgia winners purchased his ticket just up the street from where we live. [I will find...
